About
Peace means many things to many people. I want to discuss these things here. I want to help people think about peace, since we spend too much time thinking about war and violence.
“Regard ye the world as a man’s body, which is afflicted with divers ailments, and the recovery of which dependeth upon the harmonizing of all of its component elements”
“When a thought of war comes, oppose it by a stronger thought of peace.”

There is a saying that whatever gets our attention expands. If this is true, then we should focus more on peace and less on war. Your blog is an excellent way for people to start doing this.
Many years ago, as a Toastmaster, I gave a speech on the Arts of Peace (as opposed to the Arts of War). I was asked to deliver it at a world peace conference but was so busy with my family and our business at the time, that this was impossible. It’s been sitting in a file folder ever since. I’d be very happy to share it with you to help get the word out for peace. Let me know if you’re interested.
BTW, I came across your blog on Alpha Inventions.

This is a wonderful blog and the images you added are amazing and inspiring. I am working on a project called The Fountain of Peace which Please help us collect stones from around the world so we can build The Fountain of Peace. The Fountain of Peace Project is an interactive social and educational Project that promotes world peace and supports the voice and role children play in world peace and their futures.
The Stones need to be strong enough to have a hole drilled through the middle and the best size would be approximetly 4″ x 3″ , the flatter the better.that is just a guide line size. If it can fit in the palm of your hand that is probably very close to the size we would need. The flatter the better but that is not necessary . The stones will be threaded over 7 towers which represent the continents of the world. Please visit our website to learn more about our project. http://www.fountainofpeace.com
Stones can be sent to # 402-1655 Chambers St. Victoria BC. V8T 3J7 c/o The Fountain of Peace Project.
We are also collect any story you might have about the stone you donate. A picture of the stone, its story /location will be placed on a special page that is being created for these special stones. Thank you so much for your help and if you know anyone who can help please share this notice with them. If my request is not appropriate for your blog please forgive me for writing I just need help to collect the stones and well I thought your blog might be a place to find help . I understand if you can not post it. But I hope you will go to our website to find out about the project and if you have any ideas I would be very open to hearing from you

You are making peace happen in very cool and major way(s). You have a wide vision for the process and I want to thank you for posting about CHALK4PEACE.
I think your blog is very informative. I am going to tell people about it on the CHALK PEACE FB friend page (they wouldn’t let me use the “4″…)
Please put a name and a place to this for me, where you do your thing, and
connect with CHALK4PEACE on FB. CHALK4PEACE would like to assist you in what you’re doing, if it’s appropriate… CHALK ON! the posted blog for C4P is current.
Thank you for your brilliant work of spreading peace awareness here. It is truly an inspiration. I hope you will take the time to connect with us at WE MAKE PEACE. We would love to share thoughts and ideas with you and perhaps find a way to collaborate.
