Peace and its many aspects

Ipeace Day is Coming!

I’ve mentioned  Ipeace from time to time, and I think they are an interesting site with great goals.  Well, I just learned that they are promoting “Ipeace Day”, and there is a short video which says more about this event.

“How can we create a huge global event in 2 months?

How can we make iPeace Day a household name?

How can we get millions around the world to dedicate themselves to peace on the last day of every year?

How can we help those who celebrate iPeace Day in ‘infecting’ the people around them with peace?

Any ideas?

Please let us know.

Please watch it and start spreading it.

Post it to your profile in facebook, myspace or any other social network that you belong too.

Grab the embedded code from YouTube and incorporate it in your blog or website.

Send it to your friends

Post it in groups and forums.

Talk about it.

Tell your local media about it.

Videos are great means to carry a message. Let’s use it.

iPeace Day is truly a grassroots event, as iPeace itself.

Let’s work together on making it huge”

I guess the answer to “how can they do this” is, basically, virally.  Sounds sort of ambitious to me, but who knows?

  1. Hi IG,

As the site editor for iPEACE, I wanted to thank you for this post and for spreading the word. I just received a member request from someone who read this through the IKEA Blog and it shows how the power of peace can be spread virtually! SO thank you for being part of iPEACE’s message and may 2010 be the year of your dreams for peace!.

    Blessings to you and yours

    best rgeards
