  1. Peace is impossible only because it requires everything to stop changing to happen. Once something changes, there would no longer be peace.

  2. I certainly understand what you are saying. However, for me “real” peace is dynamic. Johan Galtung (one of the leading scholars in peace studies), once defined peace as dealing creatively with conflict. Here he was referring to conflict before it degenerates to the point of violence, obviously. Change is certainly inevitable, but I am convinced that it should be possible to handle it nonviolently.
